The Paediatric facilities at the Specialists'
Hospital cater to all health care needs of children, from birth to
adolescence. The hospital conducts a well-baby clinic that offers
immunisation, monitors growth and development of children, and counsels
mothers on nutrition and other child related issues.
Presently the department is headed by the renowned Paediatrician,
Dr.T. Sumukhan, MD, Dip. NB(PAED) who was the Civil Surgeon and
Paediatrician in the Kerala Health Services after working for 28
years. A Research fellow of Indian Academy of Paediatrics he has
the rare distinction of having documented many features and articles
in Foreign and Indian Magazines and Publications. He is presently
available for consultation in Specialists' Hospital, from 9 am to
1 pm. |
