Neck lift

  Neck lift can be considered as a procedure to improve the appearance of the neck. If people around you start complaining that, you look old, you can choose a neck lift. After sucking out the fat through the incision, it will be closed with sutures and bandage the area. Whole procedure will be done under a local or general anesthesia. It will take five to ten days for complete recovery. You will have to carefully follow the instructions of your surgeon until you attain complete recovery.

   The surgical neck lift procedure is also known as cervicoplasty or neck lift with plastysmaplasty. Time will vary according to the procedure you choose. The desired results and other circumstances will decide the exact procedure to be done. If you are preparing for a neck lift procedure, you should be physically and mentally healthy enough. The surgeon will make incisions in the area. Through the incisions, the surgeon will tighten the muscles and remove excess fat. After all these procedures are done, the surgeon will close the incision with sutures. The whole procedure will be done under anesthesia. He/she will use bandage over the sutures and recommend certain follow-up procedure to keep you healthy and fit.

   The surgery will have the complications and risks of any normal surgery. It may include swelling, bruising, infection, discomfort etc. The candidate will be able to return to normal life in 10-14 days after the surgery, complete recovery may take more time.
