Facial Rejuvenation Surgery

Facial Rejuvenation Surgery is a procedure to give a youthful appearance & to give a fresh look to a tired looking face.

Your face is said to be the reflection of your physical and mental well being. A beautiful face can give you confidence and strength in life. If you look youthful, you will probably feel energetic. Facial rejuvenation is a technique to make you look more youthful. It can be defined as a medical or cosmetic method used to improve or bring back the younger age to an individual’s face. The procedure is meant to reconstruct the facial geometry and skin appearance through a combination of different cosmetic surgery procedures. It may use brow lift, face lift, eyelid lift chin lift, etc. Functional Radiofrequency and Uitherapy are examples for facial rejuvenation.

Fat injection or fat transfer is an effective method for facial rejuvenation. Individuals who suffer from a sallow appearance to the face can be a good candidate for facial rejuvenation. Individuals who have the following conditions can undergo for facial rejuvenation fat injecting procedure:

  • A diminished jaw line
  • Deep creases forming between the bottom of your nose and the corner of the mouth.
  • Loss of facial volume in isolated regions, areas or the whole face
  • Wrinkles or furrows on the face or neck.

Before proceeding further, you should consult your cosmetic surgeon and discuss your expectations and possible outcomes of the procedure. You should discuss about your expectations and desire. The entire procedure will take one or two hours to complete. The surgeon will administer anesthesia. After putting you in sleep, the surgeon will mark the areas to be injected. The area will be numbed with local anesthesia. After numbing the area, fat grafts will be harvested with low suction, which will enhance the proportion of living cells. These harvested cells are then processed using a centrifuge to isolate and concentrate the transferable cells.

You can resume your normal physical activities when you feel comfortable. The bandages will be removed within one to five days after the surgery. Stitches(if any) will be removed after five- seven days. Within three to five days, you will be able to return to work. You can indulge in strenuous works in one to two weeks after surgery.
